Ready, Set, Go

Just getting started is sometimes the hardest part. In order to be an active participant in my own learning, I have to begin.

It’s time to launch. Go time.

Am I ready? no …

Do I really know what I’m doing? I don’t think so.

Will it be easy? no again.

Do I like that? for some unknown reason… yes

Difficult, hard, not easy… this is ok for me.

Sometimes it’s better to pick up the pen or (I really mean to just tap the key) and just let it begin. So it’s GO time.

Lately I’ve been really thinking and internalizing a quote from Emerson.

“Live your life with Purpose”

“The purpose in life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make a difference that you have lived and lived well”

I’ve tried to be compassionate. I’ve strived to be honorable. And I’ve lived well.

But to make a difference. That’s still on my to do list.

In my ongoing quest, for self-improving knowledge, I think I’ve been isolated in a bubble thus far.

Spring is here. New growth abounds all around. Time to share. Ready, Set, Go!

It’s good to be growing.
